We will be leading 4 natural dye classes, including a community-wide indigo dip. Information and registration here.

July 9, 2016 – Indigo for Hand Knitters.

Held at Farm Girl Products in Lake Stevens, Washington. Working with a sportweight wool and alpaca blend yarn, we will create a series of indigo dyed yarns, from pale, watery blues to deep rich inky shades. Students are encouraged to bring additional yarns for overdyeing and upcycling. If the indigo patch is producing, we will also experiment with fresh indigo to obtain a color not often seen with this mysterious dye.
