Did you join us for a free online embroidery workshop with Rachel MacHenry of Botanica Tinctoria?
The workshop took place on Thursday, December 9th at 9am Pacific/noon Eastern. If you missed it you can still watch it, just purchase thread or a pattern kit from Botanica Tinctoria and we’ll send you the password as well as a really cool stitching chart Rachel put together.
Rachel demonstrated the hand stitching and embroidery techniques used in the Botanica Tinctoria patterns featured in the FEEDBACK FRIDAY Holiday Marketplace and showed examples of the finished pieces. She also showed how to do couching with torn fabric strips and thread, as well as teaching a specialized hand ruching technique and providing tips for hand stitching layers using running stitch.
