Kata Golda is the name of a wonderful handcrafted stitchery business by Alison Kaplan, artist and bookbinder. Located in Port Townsend Washington, Alison spends every day stitching and creating books, journals and other hand made items. She works with local makers (including us!) and we are so pleased to offer her indigo zipper pouch.
This is the perfect size for holding small projects, cosmetics or snacks! Large enough to hold several skeins of yarn and a crochet hook or serve as a clutch for your daily essentials, the pouch features a metal zipper, bottom gusset for expansion, and tape-bound inside seams for durability. Skillfully constructed of heavy organic cotton/hemp canvas, indigo dyed by Botanical Colors, and beautifully handstitched by Alison. A lovely and thoughtful gift.
The pouch measures 9.75 inches tall by 9.5 inches wide, with a gusset bottom. The zipper is bronze metal with a naturally dyed torn silk ribbon dyed with fustic and pomegranate.
