We are beyond excited to announce our PACIFIC NORT We are beyond excited to announce our PACIFIC NORTHWEST FALL COLOR SEASONAL DYE WORKSHOP with the incredible @SASHADUERR 
Saturday September 27, 2025  from 10-2 plus book signing and shopping

In-person at the Botanical Colors Studio
503 S Michigan St Ste B, Seattle WA 98108

This one day, hands-on session will be offered to savor slow and holistic hues. We’ll learn to “cook with color” with a variety of seasonal plants of the Pacific Northwest, gleaned from locally grown materials, as well as weeds, windfall and waste. Participants will be working with regional raw materials.

The workshop begins at 10AM till 2PM on Saturday September 27th.  Participants will dye silk/wool textile in one of the foraged colors and receive a sample page of additional regional shades.

We will celebrate Sasha’s visit with a book signing and pop-up right after the workshop- From 2-3 PM  where you can get a copy of her beautiful book, “Natural Palettes” signed, and shop  dyes, tools, fabrics, books and more.

The workshop starts at 10AM and will include all plant dyeing materials, as well as a beautiful textile to take home and a range of seasonal palette swatches.

WHAT TO BRING

Garden shears to cut up dyestuffs (optional – we will have a few pairs)
Bring a notebook and pen
Comfortable clothes to dye in
Brown bag lunch (we have a refrigerator)

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
We have a 100% paid scholarship opportunity for one person to attend Sasha’s workshop in exchange for assistance with workshop preparation and setup, and cleanup after our workshop. It will require 2 hours assistance on Friday September 26 and assistance with cleanup after the event on Saturday September 27 between 3 and 4 PM.
