Handwoven Hemp Ticking Stripe Fabric – Various Lengths. We have a special collection of our vintage, handwoven hemp ticking fabric. These shorter lengths and are perfect for cushions, table mats, tote bags or short runners.  The fabric is a plain weave, alternating narrow cotton and hemp stripe with a blue/black/purple accent stripe at one or both ends. The hemp yarn is a warm, earthy light taupe, the cotton stripe is white cotton and the accent stripes are commercially dyed and millspun.  Please note that the fabric has been in storage, sometimes for decades, and may have small holes, stains, marks and other irregularities.

This fabric is perfect for the summer patio table, or turn them into cushions or table mats.  This is a sturdy handwoven fabric with both handspun and millspun yarns.

We offer three lengths:

Short – approximately 52-56 inches

Medium – approximately 77 inches

Long –  approximately 82-95 inches

The fabric is approximately 11-12 inches wide. Please note these fabrics are one of a kind and you will receive one length.  Accent stripes at the end of the lengths are mostly blue.  The fabric is unhemmed with raw edges.

Our Handwoven Hemp Fabric is unused from vintage stock from mid-20th century to the 1980s when many village families still tended a hemp crop for their textile needs. All fabrics are vintage and may contain minor weaving imperfections, small holes, marks, shades or stains or other signs of long storage. Limited quantities are available.
