They’re lightweight and easy to pack for your next natural dye travel adventure. Bandanas become a wonderful way to document the plants, pigments and other natural wonders that you experience on a trip. Simply dampen, pluck a few flowers, roll into a bundle and let cure for a few hours or days.

We get many questions about mordanting and preparing fibers for natural dyes and although we love the meditative journey of scouring and mordanting, sometimes you just want to play. These bandanas do the trick.

We’re offering 6 -22″ square cotton bandanas to use as a blank canvas for your next natural dyeing adventure. The bandanas are machine hemmed with cotton thread and take color beautifully. We used aluminum acetate with a calcium carbonate bath on these fabrics.

These are the same bandanas we are providing in our kits, and they’re also great for another round of experiments with your dye kit!
