Covid-19 update from Botanical Colors
Greetings from Seattle – ’nuff said about that. We are heartbroken that so many of our dear creative friends are feeling the fear and uncertainty of the outbreak. It is a crazy time, and not knowing what’s going to happen is unnerving.
We are doing okay, and taking an abundance of health precautions. The weather is sunnier, daffodils are in bloom and the Winter Daphne (Daphnia odora) is delighting us with her amazing fragrance. Those simple things are lifting our spirits during these difficult times. The dog is delighted that we are around a lot more.
We are following the orders and recommendations from the CDC and our local and state governments to stay safe and healthy. The entire staff is social distancing with constant hand washing and disinfecting.
We are shipping via USPS, mostly First Class and Priority Mail and our mail carriers have been awesome. Expect slight delays with shipments as we rely on our carriers for pickup and we are not going to the post office any longer.
Our community is resilient, and we will get through this. Please reach out with any needs, or if you just need a bit of talk therapy. We’re here for you.
Stay safe and do all the things that make you feel more centered. Natural dyeing is something you can do when social distancing, and we’d love to see how you are channeling your creative side in the midst of this difficult and chaotic time. Feel free to tag #botanicalcolors on Instagram and we will share with our amazing community.
Elbow bumping for now –
Kathy
