Beam Paints Pine Spectrum 11 Paint Palette

We are excited to offer a new paint palette from Anong Beam of Beam Paints: the Pine Spectrum 11 Paint Palette. Founded by Anong in M’Chigeeng First Nation, who still lives on their ancestral lands on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada. This is a beautiful rainbow of colors in 5/8 inch pans in a convenient pine palette handmade for traveling and having a rainbow in your hand!  There’s even a little sparkle in the Classic Gold that includes their ethically sourced mica.

The pine palettes are sealed with beeswax and made by Corbiere Lumber an Indigenous Forestry company in Mchigeeng First Nation. The wood comes from offcuts from other projects to reduce waste!

Spectrum 11 colors include: Cherry Magenta, Strawberry, Pumpkin, Morning Peach, Fall Poplar Yellow, Spring Green, Robins Egg Blue, Great Ocean, Almost Night, Lilac, Classic Gold

“Beam Paints is the result of a multi-generational love of pigment, paint, colour, and innovation. I was raised by my artist parents, Carl Beam and Ann Beam, and was taught from a young age how to harvest hematite pigment in the LaCloche mountain range near our home in M’Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island. Beam Paints draws on my early educations in Indigenous pigment and expands it to encompass all paint traditions. A focus on high quality pigment content creates sublime artist materials, with plastic-free packaging.”
